About the project
We are developing an AI training platform to assist ship officers to stay ready for medical emergencies at the sea. To make sure it fits the real needs of seafarers, we want to involve students who have recently completed their medical training, both to understand their experience and to evaluate the prototype as it develops.

Who we are looking for
At least 7 students who have completed the medical care at sea course (basic course A, ideally covering category A, B and C).

What participation involves
The knowledge gathering is planned in three phases:

  1. Interviews (November to January): Individual interviews of about 30 to 60 minutes, conducted in English. These can be done in person if the student is in Denmark (I can travel to them) or online, depending on what suits the student best.
  2. First Prototype evaluation (March): One or two group workshops of 1 hour each, where participants try out and give feedback on a prototype.
  3. Second Prototype Evaluation (April): One group workshop of 1 hour.

Dates for the workshops are not fixed yet, so we can plan them around the students’ availability. Ideally the same students would take part in all three phases, but students who can only join the interviews or only the workshops are also very welcome.

Participation is voluntary, and all data used in the project will be anonymized and handled in line with GDPR.
